We no longer place mercury fillings in our practice. If we need to remove an old decayed or broken silver filling we will place a comfortable rubber sheet over the tooth so that none of the old particles are ingested for your safety. Once the tooth is disinfected we will then place a lovely new white restoration in its place and sculpt it to look like your original tooth - as if by magic!
